About the sound sequences

A row of sounds down the left and three boxes. Tap a sound to put it in the next empty box, press play, and the board plays the pattern with each box lighting up in turn. Then it lights them again in silence, and that is the class's turn to copy it.

There are two sets of sounds. Body sounds are clap, click fingers, stamp, blow a raspberry, pat knees and click tongue. Beatbox is puh, tsh, pff and ck.

A sound can go in more than once, so clap, clap, stamp is a pattern. Tap a box to empty it, or drag a sound onto a box to put it in that one.

Switch to four boxes when three is easy. The sound cards sit in the middle of the board so a child can reach them.

How to use it on your whiteboard

Questions

Does it work without speakers?
Yes. The boxes light up in order either way, so you can make the sounds yourself and the class copies you.
Can the same sound go in twice?
Yes. Clap, clap, stamp is a pattern, so every sound can be used as often as you like.
Where do the sounds come from?
They are real recordings, all released into the public domain, trimmed and set to the same loudness.
