About the random number
Tap anywhere to pick a number. The number fills the board, so it works as a mental maths starter from anywhere in the room.
Turn on no repeats and it deals through the range instead of picking freely. Set it to 1 to 30 and it will work round a class without asking anyone twice. Set it to 1 to 12 and it covers the times tables exactly once. The numbers already used are shown underneath, and it tells you how many are left.
Three presets cover most of it, and More lets you set any range you like.
Tapping the board picks, so it still works in fullscreen with the controls put away.

Questions
- Can it avoid picking the same number twice?
- Yes. Turn on No repeats and every pick is one that has not come up yet. When they have all been used it says so rather than starting over quietly.
- What range can I use?
- Anything from -1000 to 1000. The presets cover 1 to 10, 1 to 20 and 1 to 100.
- Can I use it to pick children?
- You can pick a register number this way. For names, our random name picker is better suited.
